TPACK MODEL (REFLECTION)

Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge is integration framework that need to combine for successful Ed tech. TPACK stands for its it's theory that was developed to explain the set of knowledge that teachers need to each their students a subject, teach effectively and use of technology. This is more academic explanation of TPACK that will both recap the concepts from the additional explanation. Individual teachers, grade level school specific factors, demographics culture and other factors ensures that every situation is unique and no single combination of content of technology and pedagogy will apply for every teacher every course, of every view of teaching.

But too many views of technology as a silver bullet to the challenges they face. It's is sometimes assumed, consciously or not, that the mere presence of digital tools will improve education. This is exactly why the TPACK framework is important. It easy to think that adding a great LMS to your class strategy is going to enhance learning.

Through this TPACK show us that there's a relationship between technology, content and pedagogy, and the purposeful blending of them is key. In a study conducted by the ASCILITE or the Australasian Society for computers in learning in tertiary education that researchers found TPACK framework enhanced teachers candidates ability to use technology in their learning and later in their profession.

This TPACK model's whether you apply it to every lesson or revisit it from time to time, this framework can help you think more strategically about how your using technology in the classroom. But if you try it you maybe surprised at what your lessons and and strategies can become through the meticulously thoughtful lens of the TPACK framework.

After using the TPACK framework you have to analyse these three major areas (content, pedagogy, technology) and how they interact within the context. I've determined that my strategy should focus more on changing my pedagogical methods, more especially shifting from a pure behaviorism model and going towards a constructivist approach where students can learn at their own pace using methods such as self discovery, research experimentation.

In order to support the TPACK models this is the time that we have to use this in our teaching. By using the behaviorist model, students learn only the the amount of content that is provided in the class, which does not allow flexibility, does not allow them learn at their own pace and does not allow them to find the learning method the best suits their needs like in education.
